When utilizing AckAlerts.com Alarm Suppression, duplicate alarm data sent to AckAlerts.com Alarm Management–within the specified time interval–will not result in the firing of duplicate Alarms.
Large values contained in the Duplicate Count field, can be the result of poorly designed monitoring software tools, that send out alarm storms when problems are detected.
